2. USER ACCOUNTS

Marketsale.lk functions as an online marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers. Marketsale acts only as a digital intermediary facilitating transactions between buyers and sellers.
5. USE OF THE PLATFORM
By using the Platform you agree that you will not use the Platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes, upload viruses or malware, or violate intellectual property rights.
6. AGE REQUIREMENT
By using the Platform you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or are using the Platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Users under the age of 18 must not create accounts without appropriate supervision.
7. USER CONTENT
Users may submit reviews, product listings, comments, images, and other content to the Platform. By submitting such content you grant Marketsale a non-exclusive right to display, publish, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Platform.
Marketsale reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, infringes intellectual property rights, or is considered misleading or harmful.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on Marketsale.lk including logos, graphics, text, images, website design, and software are the intellectual property of Marketsale or its licensors.
9. THIRD-PARTY SELLERS
Products and services listed on the Platform may be offered by independent third-party sellers. Marketsale does not manufacture or own these products and does not guarantee their quality, safety, or legality.
All transactions occur directly between buyers and sellers. Marketsale is not responsible for disputes, warranties, product quality, or delivery delays.
10. PLATFORM AVAILABILITY
Marketsale aims to provide uninterrupted access to the Platform. However, access may occasionally be limited due to maintenance, upgrades, technical issues, or security updates.
11. DISCLAIMER
The Platform and all services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Marketsale does not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of listings, or reliability of third-party sellers.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marketsale shall not be liable for any indirect damages, loss of profits, or transaction disputes between buyers and sellers.
13. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Marketsale, its employees, partners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your misuse of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
14. TERMINATION
Marketsale reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts, remove listings, or restrict access to the Platform if users violate these Terms or engage in unlawful activities.
15. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
